Family Promise of Waukesha County helps our community to coordinate their compassion to address the root causes of family homelessness. We address the issue holistically, providing prevention services before families reach crisis, shelter and case management when they become homeless, and stabilization programs once they have secured housing to ensure they remain independent. We tap existing local resources to empower families towards economic stability. Families come to us in crisis; we help them rebuild their lives with new skills and ongoing support.

Volunteers from the Waukesha Service Club (founded in the 1930s) run the Prohealth Waukesha Memorial Hospital gift shop and the Thrift Shop on West Avenue.  Funds raised from the WSC support agencies and individuals in the Waukesha community.

Every family eventually reaches the moment when the school years end, and the question becomes, what’s next?

For many adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), the answer is far from clear. The routines they once relied on begin to fade. Friendships become harder to maintain. Opportunities feel limited. And for families, the uncertainty can be overwhelming.

Journey21 was created to change that story.

We believe every adult with IDD deserves more than care—they deserve a community that sees their strengths, values their voice, and supports their growth. We believe in a future filled with meaningful relationships, purposeful days, and spaces where every person belongs.

💼 Business Monday is a special networking-focused meeting held during our regular Rotary program time. Instead of a traditional guest speaker, members and guests have the opportunity to introduce themselves, share information about their businesses, professions, organizations, or projects, and connect with others in the room.

Whether you're looking to build relationships, exchange ideas, promote a service, or simply learn more about the talented professionals in our community, Business Monday provides a welcoming environment for meaningful conversations and networking.
