Paddle For A Purpose

Barb and Gene Geiger will present a slide presentation about the five-month kayak service trip they took in their homemade tandem kayak. Paddling from the Headwaters of the Mississippi River to the Gulf of Mexico, they stopped to volunteer with over two dozen non-profit organizations in towns along the way. In order to share their many inspiring stories of people helping people, Barb wrote a memoir called Paddle for a Purpose, which was published in April of 2018 by eLectio Publishing. Barb and Gene will give a slide overview of their trip and share what they learned in the process.
