Recently, PDG Gary Bren recognized Hal Daub as Paul Harris Fellow +8. Hal has been a Rotarian for eight years and he is currently co-chairing the South Omaha initiative. Hal's contribution of $9,000 to The Rotary Foundation will make a difference in Rotary's areas of focus: Peace and conflict prevention/resolution, Disease prevention and treatment, Water and sanitation, Maternal and child health, Basic education and literacy, Economic and community development, and Protecting the Environment.

It's a huge party on August 4th at our weekly Rotary meeting to celebrate our 110th Anniversary. It's a major milestone for our club. DON'T MISS IT.

ANNOUNCEMENT: Our weekly Rotary meeting is being broadcasted live via Facebook from the moment the meeting is called to order until the meeting is adjourned. Broadcasting our meeting was recently discussed at the board meeting, and we want to make sure that all members are aware. Broadcasting our meeting is a great way to share with the community who we are and what we do as Rotarians. This also means that all of our meeting content should be good for public viewing. Because of the overwhelming response from Rotarians to conduct a hybrid meeting going forward, the club purchased Meeting Owl Pro. The Meeting Owl Pro is a premium 360-degree camera, mic, and speaker combined into one easy-to-use device. It creates the experience of in-person participation for hybrid teams and integrates seamlessly with the conferencing platforms that our club is using. The Owl has an 18-foot radius audio pick-up and it works great with the size of our group.
