Lindsay Odvody received her BA in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Nebraska Lincoln, and Juris Doctor from the University of Nebraska (licensed to practice law in Nebraska and the District of Columbia).  Prior to joining the University of Nebraska Omaha, she was a Director of Human Resources at First National Bank of Omaha, where she worked collaboratively to implement high-impact employee-facing programs and corporate change initiatives.  In other positions at First National Bank, Odvody was accountable for complex operations programs in both Corporate Compliance and Business Risk.  She also worked in Washington, DC in federal government relations, and she served on the staffs of two former United States Senators (Secretaries Chuck Hagel and Mike Johanns), acting in roles including Legislative Counsel, Senior Legislative Assistant, and Grants Administrator.  Odvody has a passion for arts related non-profit service in Omaha, and currently chairs the Board for Omaha Academy of Ballet. 

Erin Grace is NCITE’s strategic communications manager. Formerly, she worked at the Omaha World-Herald, winning awards for her work on juvenile justice, mental health and poverty during her nearly 22 years there. She has responded to breaking news, conducted investigations, and covered disasters, including Nebraska's devastating 2019 floods, earthquake recovery in Haiti and response to Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans. Prior to journalism, she taught high school English in south Louisiana through Teach for America. She holds a bachelor's degree from Marquette University in Writing-Intensive English. She is a passionate storyteller who is eager to amplify the important work of NCITE and translate that to a broader audience.
