A renowned academic leader, researcher, professor and pediatrician, H. Dele Davies, MD, is dedicated to transforming health science education and driving positive change within the community and beyond.
Dr. Davies serves as the interim chancellor of the University of Nebraska Medical Center, following the selection of Chancellor Jeffrey P. Gold, MD, as president of the University of Nebraska System.
In this role, Dr. Davies is responsible for all aspects of campus leadership, program quality and operations, including six colleges, a graduate studies program, two degree-granting institutes, the professional staff and faculty of more than 6,000, and 4,500 health professions students.
Throughout his career, Dr. Davies has championed initiatives that inspire personal and professional growth, ensuring that students, faculty and staff are equipped with the tools and opportunities to excel. He is dedicated to fostering a welcoming and dynamic environment at UNMC where every individual is empowered to reach their full potential.
Dr. Davies joined UNMC in 2012, initially appointed as vice chancellor. He was promoted in 2017 to senior vice chancellor, with expanded responsibilities and direct oversight of all UNMC colleges and a health sciences library. He has served as dean of graduate studies since joining UNMC.
Prior to joining UNMC, Dr. Davies served as professor and chair of the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine Pediatrics and Human Development Department. Before that, he was director of the Child Health Research Unit at Alberta Children’s Hospital in Calgary, Canada, and the Child Health Research Institute at the University of Calgary.

Todd is married to Angela Chaney. Together they have four children and two cats. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. His first real job was as a police officer and Detective for the Los Angeles Police Department. After 10 years of law enforcement, he made the very logical transition to Financial Advisor and moved back to Nebraska in 2007. He recently left corporate America and is now an independent, Certified Financial Planner through Ameriprise Financial Group. Todd's hobbies include working on cars at his shop, watching sports, travel, and doting on his family.

CODY FUCHTMAN
Cody Fuchtman is currently the Director of Development of the CHI Health Foundation in Omaha. He has nearly 20 years of development experience, most recently working at Creighton University prior to joining CHI Health. Before working in development, Cody worked for over 5 years for US Senator Chuck Hagel in both his Washington, DC and Omaha offices.
Cody is originally from Norfolk, NE and a graduate of the University of Nebraska. In his spare time, Cody enjoys golfing and coaching/following his kids’ activities all over town. Cody, and his wife, Tiffany, have a daughter (Cora, age 9) and son (Jack, age 6). They are active parishioners and volunteers at St. Wenceslaus Parish where his kids attend school, as well.

CHRISTOPHER RATH
Christopher Rath is a sales consultant at Mercedes-Benz of Omaha. An Omaha native, he holds a bachelor of science degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Kansas State University, and a bachelor of science degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. He and his wife have one child, a son. Chris enjoys mountain biking, fly fishing, and listening to classical music.

SARAH ROBAK
Sarah Robak brings more than two decades of experience within financial services, spanning areas such as data/analytics, investment management and wealth planning. Born and raised in Omaha, she obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Banking and her M.B.A. from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She received the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation in 2010 and CFP® (Certified Financial Planner) certificate in 2022. Sarah worked for TD Ameritrade for 14 years, most recently as a Director of Marketing Analytics and Insights. She also worked for a prominent RIA in Omaha as a Portfolio Manager for 4 years. She has a passion for financial markets and helping individuals and business achieve their financial objectives. Outside of the office, Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband, Shane and their 3 rescue dogs. She's also an avid Peloton user.
Together, the Rotary Club of Omaha, West Rotary, Millard Rotary, Suburban Rotary, Morning Rotary, and a District Rotary matching grant will make an incredible impact by packaging nearly 45,000 meals! These meals will stay in our community, supporting local non-profits like Heart Ministry Center, Heartland Hope Mission, and Together Inc. in their fight against food insecurity.
We Need Your Help! 140 volunteers are needed to make this event a success! This is a fantastic opportunity for Rotarians, families, and friends of all ages to come together for a great cause.
Event Details 📅 Date: Saturday, February 22, 2025 📍 Location: 4418 S 180th Street, Omaha (Enter at the “Love Church” sign on 180th & J Street. Stay to the right, follow the drive to the large garage, and park in front of the garage.)
Shifts:
Shift 1: 8:00 AM – 9:30 AM (40 volunteers needed)
Shift 2: 9:45 AM – 11:15 AM (40 volunteers needed)
Shift 3: 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM (40 volunteers needed)
What to Expect Volunteers will work in an assembly line format at one of four tables to package meals. This is a fun, hands-on activity for all ages (at least 5 years old) and a great way to introduce younger children to community service!
What to Bring/Wear:
Hair should be tied back. Please wear a baseball cap or a provided hairnet.
Comfortable clothes and shoes, as you’ll be standing throughout your shift.
By volunteering, you’ll help bring nearly 45,000 meals to local food banks, making a meaningful difference for those experiencing food insecurity. Let’s show how Rotary serves our community with Service Above Self!

Stephen Center has served the homeless and low-income in Omaha since 1984 through its three programs: Emergency Shelter, HERO Program, and Transitional Living Program. The Omaha Downtown Rotary partners with Stephens Center in serving hot meals to its residents.
