Dr. Erin Pleggenkuhle-Miles

Dr. Erin Pleggenkuhle-Miles is a strategy professor in the College of Business Administration management department at UNO and is currently a Leadership Fellow in the Office of Academic Affairs. Erin primarily teaches strategy courses in undergraduate, MBA, and executive education programs and earned her PhD at the University of Texas at Dallas. She is the director and one of the founders of the innovative and award-winning Capstone Cup housed in the undergraduate business program. In directing this program, Erin works with local companies to develop a case briefing for students each semester and recruits employers to evaluate student presentations. Professor Miles was also part of a four-person team that spearheaded the Jack & Stephanie Koraleski Commerce and Applied Behavioral (CAB) Laboratory in the College of Business. Erin is part of the Business Strategy team for the National Counterterrorism Innovation, Technology, and Education Center (NCITE) housed at UNO and is the co-PI on a workforce development grant that familiarizes business students with various agencies within the Department of Homeland Security. Erin is currently on the UNO Faculty Senate, is chairing a standing committee, and is part of the core executive council. She is a faculty sponsor for the Delta Sigma Pi fraternity and advisor for the Students in Leadership And Management (SLAM) student organization. She is a member of the Academy of Management, the Strategic Management Society, and has served as a reviewer for prestigious academic management conferences and journals.
