The Rotary E-Club of Fort Worth International is active in our local community.  Here are some of the projects we have been involved in:

OUR ONGOING PROJECTS
  • The third Monday of each month, we assist in serving meals to the homeless at the Union Gospel Mission in downtown Fort Worth.
  • Annually in the fall, we present to each and every third grade student at three local elementary schools in the Fort Worth Independent School District their very own personal dictionary.
  • Each year, we provide a scholarship and pay all expenses for one student to attend RYLA (the Rotary Youth Leadership Academy), a leadership development program for high school juniors and seniors.

ADDITIONAL PROJECTS
  • Assisted in remodeling a home and raffling it off to a needy family.
  • Helped a middle school in East Forth Worth plant dozens of new trees.
  • Worked to clean up a neglected city park in East Fort Worth.
  • Helped the Cowtown Christmas organization provide a Christmas lunch to hundreds of children at the Old Spaghetti Warehouse in the Fort Worth Stockyards.  These children also had the opportunity to make handmade Christmas gifts for others.

  • Sponsored and chaperoned a field trip of local elementary school students to experience the flight simulators at Southwest Airlines.
