🍂 Berthoud Oktoberfest – Rotary Volunteer Opportunity 🍂

Berthoud Oktoberfest is a fun community celebration, and the Berthoud Rotary Club will be there with a booth!

We’ll be offering a FREE Cornhole Toss as a fun way to invite people to stop by, start conversations, and learn more about Rotary and the ways we serve our community.

🙋‍♀️ We Need Volunteers!

We are looking for 2 Rotary members per shift to:

• Welcome people to our booth

• Encourage visitors to try the free cornhole toss

• Visit with community members

• Share a little about Rotary and our local projects

• Most importantly — have fun and enjoy Oktoberfest!

You don’t need to be a cornhole expert! Your job is simply to welcome, connect, and create conversation.

Evening Group: Leadership Series

• When: October 14th, 2026
• Time: 5:30 - 7:00 PM
• Where: The Group, Loveland

Join us once per quarter for Leader's Building Leaders, leadership series led by Stephen Foster of The Group Real Estate. These meetings are great for current, past, and aspiring leaders to grow and share knowledge, seek advice, and connect to other local leaders.

The Loveland Rotary Evening Group meets every 2^nd and 4^th Wednesday of the month from 5:30 – 6:30 PM. Typically the second Wednesday of the month is either a guest speaker, a planning meeting, and once each quarter it is part of an ongoing leadership series. The fourth Wednesday of the month is a social gathering, rotating at a different venue, typically a restaurant, brewery, or other local business. The evening club also schedules regular community service projects, usually occurring on weekends.

Join the Evening Group in supporting the Berthoud Satellite Club's For the Love of Pasta Fundraiser! This will be the main event for the evening group in the month of November because of the proximity to the Thanksgiving holiday.

This stationary parade will feature floats parked along the sides of the street, creating a festive, immersive experience for visitors. The center of the street will be kept open allowing people to walk through and enjoy the floats up close. Throughout the evening, performers like marching bands dancers and entertainers will move through the crowd, bringing the parade to life.<br /> <br /> <strong>What is Needed?&nbsp;</strong><br /> We are hoping to have a stationary with Loveland Rotary&#39;s trademark inflatable duck on display.<br /> -&nbsp;Chris Johnston will be lending his truck&nbsp;<br /> - Julie Marko has volunteered a duck of smaller dimentions<br /> - A trailer will be needed (with the measurements of it for the application) if we use the <strong>BIG </strong>duck from the Duck Race prade.&nbsp;<br /> - Lydia Wolfe will create information and material about Rotary to have on hand as well as a sign up sheet for interest.&nbsp;<br /> - Battery powered holiday lights or other Christmas decorations (maybe even a duck sized santa hat) to make the float festive&nbsp;<br /> - Volunteers to attend shifts, answer questions, and collect interest for prospective Rotary members&nbsp;<br /> - Floats need to be set up by 4:30 PM and the event runs until&nbsp;<br /> - Optional: Coffee or hot chocolate to give out at the event.<br /> <br /> <strong>Anyone who is intersted in supporting - please send an email to Lydia&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp;<u>lydiajwolfe@gmail.com</u>&nbsp;<strong>and Chis&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong><u>chris@lcrealestategroup.com&nbsp;</u><strong>&nbsp;about how you would like to contribute!
