About Us - Loveland Rotary Club
-
More than 34,000 clubs with 1.2 - 1.4 million members in over 200 countries, work together to: promote peace, fight disease, provide clean water, sanitation, and hygiene, improve maternal and child health, support education, grow local economies and protect the environment.
-
Our mission is to provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through our fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders.
-
PolioPlus is Rotary’s flagship program. By the time polio is eradicated, Rotary Clubs will have contributed more than $1 billion with countless volunteer hours to immunize more than two billion children in 122 countries. Rotary is a spearheading partner in the Global Polio Eradication Initiative, along with the World Health Organization, UNICEF, and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. - Guiding principles for being a Rotarian are:
- Act with integrity and high ethical standards in my personal and professional life.
- Deal fairly with others and treat them and their occupations with respect.
- Use professional skills through Rotary to mentor young people, help those with special needs, and improve people’s quality of life in my community and in the world.
- Avoid behavior that reflects adversely on Rotary or other Rotarians.
- Help advance international understanding, goodwill, and peace via fellowship with persons united in the ideal of service.
- Our motto is Service Above Self and we’re not afraid to dream big and set bold goals.
- Rotarians strive to live by the Four Way Test: See the plaque HERE.
