Welcome to August! Rotary International has designated August as Membership and New Club Development month. This aligns well with our discussion at the last board meeting about a potential companion club. Remember everyone is encouraged to bring guests to any of our events.
Once again, we will have a table at Woodridge Community Day on August 28th to share info about all the ways our club helps not only locally but internationally. All are welcome to help staff the table so save the date if interested.
For those that missed it, we will only skip one week (August 13th) this month with lunch meetings at Michael's A.M. for the other 3 weeks.
If you have not registered for the District End Polio Now Game and want to attend, they have extended the deadline to register to August 5th. Our club is usually well represented at this event so we will treat this as our service project for the month of August.
This week our speaker will be Judge Joy Malek Oldfield. It should be another great presentation!
