Leonard A. Agrusti served in 2013 – 2014 as the 57thGovernor of District 7490.
 
Lenny joined the Wayne Rotary Club on May 14, 2003, and has perfect attendance. Progressing through the Wayne chairs, he became president in 2009. During this period the club received the Presidential Citation from Rotary International, achieved its goals for Polio Plus, sponsored a Gift of Life Child, and helped provided funds for disaster relief. He has also chaired a number of fundraisers and was on all club committees.
 
He was instrumental establishing the Leadership and Ethics Conference in the District. Lenny has been recognized with a Congressional Award for Community Service and has been honored with both the Paul Harris and Walter D. Head fellowships.
 
Lenny has attended every district conference since joining in 2003, a total of 9. He has been a member of the district conference committee since 2005. He was sergeant at arms at the 2011 conference and chaired the House of Friendship at the Philadelphia conference in 2012. He was an assistant governor in 2008-2009 and again 2010-2011. He has worked on many committees including Multi District PETS, Presidential Ball, Youth Exchange and Membership Development, New Jersey Vocational Assembly, Disaster Relief Committee and also graduated from the Rotary Leadership Institute of Northeast America. He has chaired the district directory advertisement campaign and the District Club Development committee in 2011-2012 and was also Treasurer of the Walter D. Head Foundation.
 
Lenny has been a member of the Wayne First Aid Squad since 1997 holding a number of offices in the squad as well as an instructor for the American Heart Association. Lenny also received First Aider of the Year Award in 2010 from the Wayne First Aid Squad. He is a life member of the Tri-Boro First Aid Squad, which he joined in 1977. He has been a member of the New Jersey First Aid Council for 35 years.
 
When calling Lenny do not be surprised if you catch him taking a First Aid call on an ambulance.
 
Lenny was a member of the Board of Directors of the New Jersey Restaurant Association as well as a member of the Restaurant Business Research Advisory Panel.
 
Lenny graduated Marquette University with an AB in the college of Arts & Sciences and continued his post-graduate studies at Fairleigh Dickenson University in Pharmaceutical Marketing.
 
Lenny lives in Wayne with his wife Mary Ellen and they have two adult sons.
