THE MARRIOTT PAVILION at the Culinary Institute of America

FREE tour of the Culinary Institute for all attendees following the Assembly!

Who Should Attend: All members! :)

What to Expect:  Learn more about successful service projects, district grants, membership programs, raising funds, public relations, youth programs and much, much more!!! 

This is a free event. Light breakfast and lunch will be provided.

Bring your questions and an appetite to enjoy some delicious food!

 

The District Assembly schedule will include the following:

Light Breakfast: 8-9am (note no food or beverages allowed in General Session Auditorium)

General Session 1:  9am

  • Rotary 2016 and Beyond
  • Service Programs
  • Youth Programs

General Session 2: 10am

  • The Rotary Foundation
  • Membership & Fellowship Programs
  • Communications & Public Relations Programs

Workshop Sessions 1: 11am (choose one, bring friends and attend them all!)

  • Planning Hands-on International Projects
  • Using Club Runner & Rotary Club Central
  • Sponsoring and Leading Interact Clubs
  • Membership & Fellowship Opportunities
  • Club Presidents' Forum

Lunch: 12pm

Workshop Sessions 2:  12:30pm (choose one, bring friends and attend them all!)

  • Hosting Youth Exchange Students
  • Applying for District & Global Grants
  • Communications & Public Relations Forum
  • Club Secretary & Treasurers' Training
  • Fundraising Forum

General Session 3: 1:30pm

Small Group Tours of the CIA to follow General Session 3: 2pm (prior registration required, look for email to those registered).

Displays:  There will be a limited number of display tables available for those wishing to display their Club or Service Organization projects, on a pre-arranged and pre-approved first-come, first-served basis.

On April 30th, parking will be available in the lower lot accessed from the North Entrance along Route 9, immediately adjacent to the north of the Marriott Pavilion for our use, so access will be easy for our participants from that side.
