PROGRAM

James Glica-Hernandez, executive director of the Yolo County Historical Museum came here tonight to give us an update on what is going on with the Gibson House Museum.  He explained how the Board of Supervisors in Woodland voted unanimously  to turn the Gibson House over to YoloArts . The Yolo County Historical Society and Museum will be out of the Gibson House by September 15th.  The events will continue in the Gibson House and all Gibson family related articles will remain there in perpetuity. James then took questions on what might be in store for the YCHM, he sees this as an opportunity to have a county wide organization not just one centring on Woodland but the entire county.
