Notes from May 20th Meeting

President Cass got our small but hardy group off to a good start, even if we couldn't attend the Epicurean Esprit. We had Noon Club Past President and local Bon Vivant Kevin Haarberg in attendance. During Happy Dollars Barbara Fleck announced the upcoming Rhythm & Ribs event for St. John's (see website for more info) and Susan asked us all to vote for her limo company on the KCRA A-list contest. Don also announced he had attend the Sunrise club meeting where the folks from Dingle presented the latest statistics on the reading program we started last year and the results continue to show great progress. Our program was given by Stewart Savage on "Social Media" and how it can help your business. He had lots of examples on Twitter, Facebook, Linkedln, and Blogs. Besides reviewing tools and applications to help you with managing your content, he also showed how these can be tailored to the various mobile phones like Iphone and Android.
