Bert Rinkel and his wife Marise present a show about their recent bike trip through Holland
Lots going on at our meeting on Thursday - a bunch of visitors (ADG John Martin, Mark Cho from Noon club, Jim Gillette from Sunrise, Margaret Lambert, Tammy Pohl, Scout Trevor Engle, a whole bunch of Parish kids, Marise Rinkel and their daughter Tanya and grandson Nathan) and several mini presentations.
Happy Dollars was quick and focused on our guests and our Birthday Girl Ute, who was all dressed up for Oktoberfest!  Scout Trevor Engle discussed his Eagle Scout project at the Library and is hoping for donations.  Margaret Lambert is participating in the Relay for Life in memory of her friend who passed last year.  She hopes to cover 26 miles in 24 hours - Go Margaret!  Jim Gillette alerted us to two events happening in Woodland on October 6th (see our website) and finally our feature presentation was from Bert & Marise on their recent trip to Holland.  They toured all over the country via a canal boat and a bicycle built for two - a special bike that allowed them to sit side by side!  They covered about 30 miles a day on their bike and had wonderful pictures of the Holland countryside.  Thanks Bert and Marise for a wonderful show!

Bert & Marise sing and dance Happy
Birthday for Ute!
