PROGRAM

Ruth our Past president and charter member gave us her bio this week. She was the oldest chid and only girl in her family.  We got to follow her story from Job's daughters Honored Queen, young bride and mother of two, to designer extraordinary!  She met Matt, her 3rd day of college at Sacramento State and married him that same year. Then off to Wisconsin for Matt's grad school.  Marriage cancelled the scholarship she had received so she began her work career .
Ruth has had several hats a dental assistant, insurance claims officer ( hated it!) and Tupperware Franchise manager. She began her home design career from an off hand comment overheard as she was hanging her own wall paper.  The contractor mentioned she could work for him any time and she followed that path from wall paper hanger to drapery specialist and then to her home design business.  She and husband Matt have lived in Sacramento, Wisconsin, Modesto, Pasadena and back to the Sacramento area.
She became a charter member of our Luna Vista Rotary Club when working in Woodland and met Ute as a client. The rest is history. We are so lucky to have this warm, giving and joyous individual to look up to as one of our founding members.
