This week we are doing a service project instead of having a speaker. We will be helping Anne Champ create decorations for the Foundation Dinner on November 7th. This will include blowing up and organizing lots of balloons!
We are also meeting a different location while The Treehouse completes some repairs to their building over the next several weeks. This week we are at The Resource Center at St James Catholic Church 309 S Stewart Rd Liberty. Next week Kimbal will be hosting the meeting at Vocational Services Inc.
-Trick or Treat Downtown: Friday October 31st was a great success with lots of ghosts and goblins roaming around Downtown Liberty. Members showed up and worked hard passing out candy and greeting people from 5-7pm. At 7pm we held a special, adult only, Bourbon tasting and drew the winning tickets for the Sip & Screen to Stop Polio raffle!
-Service projects coming up in November/December include putting up the holiday lights at Rotary Plaza (date to be determined based on weather) and ringing bells for the Salvation Army at the Hy-Vee in Liberty on December 6th.

D6040 Foundation Dinner:Step back to the Roaring 20's & celebrate D6040's Foundation Dinner November 7th at the Madrid Theatre in Kansas City. Our Club is sponsoring two tables this year so we can support our very own DG Jodi Sundaram. The event sold out tickets at 310 but you can use the online app and participate in the Golden Ticket Raffle and silent auction. Click on the event notice to the left to visit the bidding site!

Fundraiser: Sip & Screen to Stop Polio We raised $1,125.00 in ticket sales for this fundraiser. Tickets were evenly split between Indiana Jones and the wine!
