Club News:  October 30th,  2024

Hello fellow Rotarians!

We wrapped up our final week of Coffee at the Plaza this past Saturday.  Our amazing Interactors from Liberty North High School joined us as we passed out every last cup and exhausted our coffee supply. We kept the people waiting in line at the Election Office supplied! We look forward to seeing all of our coffee friends next season when the Farmers Market returns.

We will not have our regular club meeting this week as it is a Fifth Wednesday. Plan instead to join us at The Rotary Plaza on Halloween 10/31 from 5-7p  as we pass out candy for the local Trick or Treat on the  Square event. An estimated 1200 trick or treaters visit each year so additional candy donations are needed! (Bonus points for 100grand bars)

When we return in November we will be launching our Foundation month. To be honest, I was a Rotarian for several years before I grasped the magnitude of The Rotary Foundation.  The Rotary Foundation plays a crucial role in supporting the mission of Rotary International. The Rotary Foundation embodies the spirit of Service Above Self, enabling Rotarians to make a meaningful difference in communities worldwide.  There will be a few pop-quizzes this month on The Rotary Foundation so come prepared to win some prizes!

Let’s keep spreading positivity and making a difference together- see you 10/31 at the Plaza.
