Ready for a little Upgrade?

Our club has been using ClubRunner to organize club business for a long, long, long, time without many changes to the software and with a lot of frustration at times!   As of September 6th, the club upgraded to the newest version of ClubRunner….Nova…..YEAH!

Nova has been in Beta testing for some time and will roll out to clubs, mandatory, after the first of the year, but we decided why continue to use a version we don't like when the new version offers so much more!    So far the upgrade has proved to be very worthwhile however as we learn about all the new features it has slowed down a couple of items such as no bulletin last week.

Your “home work” as members is to log into the club's website,  www.libertyrotaryclub.org, and review your profile.  Although at first glance it will appear different we believe it will be easier to use and allow members access to items they may not have known about in the past.

We also encourage you to use the link on the bottom of your profile page to download the mobile app to your phone.   The mobile app allows you to keep up-to-date with the latest announcements, events, and news without having to log into the club website.  It gives you instant access to your member directory.

The “Club Business Card” we distributed last meeting was approved with the comment that we should add a QR code, so we have gone back to the drawing board and will have some updated versions available at our next meeting.

Next week we are having a very special meeting, it will be at 6pm instead of our usual noon lunch.  We will have a catered meal and a special speaker, James Kabucho - Rotary Connects the World, My Visit to Kenya.  Event invitations will be coming out tomorrow.   In the future the 4th Wednesday of the month will be at 6pm which we hope will allow members to attend who are not able to get off at lunch.

Have a great week!
