Fellow Rotarians

*Our speaker this week is Ashley Zugelter from C.A.S.A or Court Appointed Special Advocates.

* Make Music Day is Tuesday 6/21 from 10am to 8pm at many locations throughout Liberty. Of course the best venue is Rotary Plaza with a special line up of performers:   Bill Stilfield & Laura Barge, Heidi Meadows, Doctor Troubadour, KC Music Girls Meetup, and  Djembe Djanes & Djims(interactive drum circle-great way to work out).  Something for everyone!  Stop by to enjoy the music and support this Rotary project.   Thanks to those that signed up to be "Rotary Plaza" hosts for the day!

*  Add June 29th to your calendar!  It is our "5th Wednesday" social and officer installation and it will be held at Rotary Plaza starting at 5:30pm.   A registration form will be going out tomorrow, please sign up so we can get an estimate on how many are attending as it wouldn't be good to run out of food and beverage!!!  Should be a great time to thank our outgoing officers for their work over the past year and welcome in the new team.

See you this week !!

Every Rotarian Every Year Initiative
Your gift to the Annual Fund helps Rotary clubs take action today to create positive change in communities at home and around the world.
Your contributions help us strengthen peace efforts, provide clean water and sanitation, support education, grow local economies, save mothers and children, protect the environment, and fight disease.

The Every Rotarian Every Year initiative asks every Rotarian to support The Rotary Foundation every year. In addition to contributing to the Annual Fund on a regular basis, members are encouraged to get involved in a Foundation project or program.

Club Scholarships
Each year the Scholarship Committee of the Liberty Rotary Club is tasked with finding students in Liberty Public Schools who exemplify Rotary ideals. Through essays and interviews, the committee looks for students who are committed to serving others, promote integrity, and are leaders in their school and community. The Liberty Rotary Club’s largest event, the Butt Buster Barbecue, funds the clubs investment in local youth. This includes the $22,500 that is awarded to three top Liberty School District Seniors.
