 KITS FOR KIDS IS BACK -THIS PROJECT ENDS 7/31/2025 Children living in poverty often go back to school without the basic items needed to help them manage proper hygiene.
When we asked kids, "what do you need for back-to-school," they said they wanted to "look good" and "smell good." That is why we work with local school districts and area churches to provide low-income families with pre-assembled hygiene kits at the start of each school year. And the items aren’t those tiny, hotel size products. They are full sized hygiene items. |
Thank you to everyone who came out to support the Christmas in July Beer Crawl! The Beer Crawl is held annually by HDLI and supports Rotary’s focus on economic development. It is also FUN!! 
SHOES, SHOES, SHOES!!! The club has made a great start toward achieving our goal of 2,500 pairs of shoes for the Shoes for Orphan Souls project – we currently have over 900 pairs!!! If each member can donate 4 pairs of shoes each month for the next 8 months, or 38 pairs total, we will easily achieve the goal. We are also collecting shoelaces and monetary donations – we have a team that loves shopping. Shoes should be closed toe – no flip flops or sandals.
