About Everett Medeiros: 

Everett Medeiros is the owner of Pearce Bespoke Fall River, where he helps professionals build intentional wardrobes that reflect their confidence, character, and personal brand. Before launching Pearce Bespoke, Everett spent more than twenty years in the automotive industry, where he learned that lasting success is built on trust, relationships, and genuinely helping people solve problems.

Today, he works with business leaders, attorneys, physicians, executives, athletes, and professionals throughout New England, helping them simplify their wardrobes, reduce decision fatigue, and present themselves with confidence in every aspect of their personal and professional lives. Everett is passionate about community involvement, lifelong learning, and helping others live, lead, and dress with intention.

Presentation Description: 

We all form first impressions—but are we intentional about the impression we leave?

In this engaging and thought-provoking presentation, Everett explores how personal presentation influences confidence, trust, and opportunity. Drawing on more than two decades of experience building relationships and helping professionals succeed, he shares practical insights into the psychology of first impressions, the power of intentional wardrobes, and how thoughtful clothing choices can simplify life, reduce decision fatigue, and help people present the version of themselves they've worked so hard to become.

More than a talk about clothing, Dress With Intention is a conversation about confidence, authenticity, and living with purpose.

Please join us on Thursday, September 10, for our Area 7 District Dinner, which will take the place of our regular club meeting that week. The dinner is potluck, so please bring a dish to share.

This is also our official District Governor visit and a wonderful opportunity to mix and mingle with fellow Rotarians from the Dartmouth, Fairhaven, New Bedford, and Taunton clubs, along with members of our own Fall River club.  

District Governor Nicole Brien will be joined by District Governor Elect Carl Alves and District Governor Nominee Tina White for an evening of fellowship, district updates, conversation, and connection.

Instead of Happy Dollars, members may make an optional $5 donation to support District initiatives.

On Saturday, September 12, Roger and Grace Cabral will open their home at 12 Westview Drive in Dartmouth for a Dine Around event to benefit the Corpus (permanent endowment)  Account of the Fall River Rotary Club Charitable Foundation Trust. 

 

The event will run from 5-10PM.  The Cabrals will provide light appetizers followed by a dinner buffet.  Beer, Wine, soft drinks and Gracie’s Famous Cosmos will also be provided. 

 

The cost of the event is $50 per person and is limited to the first 30 individuals.

Marcella Wilson, Ph.D., has over 30 years of extensive experience in healthcare administration, not-for-profit management, behavioral health, criminal justice and public sector programming. Dr. Wilson, a University of Michigan alumna, holds a Master's degree in Social Work and a Ph.D. in Health and Higher Education. Dr. Wilson is an Emmy Award winner for the “What Are You Fighting For” documentary promoting youth volunteerism. In her role as CEO and Founder of Transition to Success® (TTS), Wilson is leading a national social change movement. Transition to Success is a demonstrated standard of care to treat poverty as an environmentally based medical condition and not a character flaw. Dr. Wilson’s book, “Diagnosis: Poverty”, defines a scalable, sustainable, measurable, multi- generational response to poverty that can be implemented across health, human services, government, education and faith-based organizations. TTS Certified Coaches teach clients how to identify their challenges and access the funded delivery system in the pursuit of their dreams. Today, with statistically significant outcomes in 7 independent evaluations, Transition to Success® defines uniform protocols and analytics treating poverty across practice, organizations and communities.

Julie Abilheira, RN, MS is president of Saint Anne’s Hospital and Morton Hospital. In her previous role, Julie was senior vice president of medicine, cancer, radiation oncology, and dermatology at Brown University Health. Abilheira has been with Brown University Health for more than 20 years, having joined the nursing staff at The Miriam Hospital in 2000. At The Miriam Hospital, she opened the 3 North surgical/orthopedic unit in the Baxt Building in 2007 and then moved into ambulatory services, where she managed the HIV, TB, Men’s Health and Suite C programs. She was promoted to be nurse manager of inpatient psychiatry at Rhode Island Hospital in 2014. Abilheira was previously vice president of the Brown University Health Cancer Institute (LCI). In 2016, Abilheira was recruited to oversee the Rhode Island Hospital Cancer Center, which included the clinics and infusion centers at Rhode Island Hospital and in East Greenwich, RI. Her duties were expanded to include oversight of radiation therapy at Rhode Island Hospital and its expansion to East Greenwich. She also oversaw all the planning for the opening of the new Brown University Health cancer center in Lincoln, RI. On the national level, Abilheira is active with many organizations, including serving as a member of the Society of Radiation Oncology, the Vizient Cancer Center Network, and the American Society of Clinical Oncology. Abilheira earned her BSN from the University of Rhode Island and her MS in Healthcare Administration from Salve Regina University.
