Talk about timing... Last week, Oct. 20th, the day of the National Great Shakeout earthquake drill, we heard from Marsha Hovey, the Executive Director of CADRE (Collaborating Agencies’ Disaster Relief Effort) who coordinates Santa Clara County’s network of nonprofits that prepare to assist after disasters. She came baring gifts and outstanding information about disaster preparedness, and specifically earthquakes. And this week we experienced a 5.1 EARTHQUAKE. I hope everyone is okay, and it would be nice to lay eyes on your this week so I know for sure.

- Nov. 17th is the District Governor visit to our club
- Dec. 15th is Christmas for Kids
- Dec. 18th is our holiday party
