Really.  We dream big about service.
A century of service and beyond
The Rotary Club of Fort Wayne celebrated its centennial year of 2015 through …. Service!  In honor of its centennial, the club installed 100 Little Free Libraries around Fort Wayne, erected the 22-foot Rotary Cub of Fort Wayne Centennial Tower in downtown Fort Wayne, and coordinated efforts to build a middle school in Gléi Togo (West Africa), where we also have provided playground equipment, textbooks and other supplies.
Today, the Rotary Club of Fort Wayne’s ad hoc Second Century of Service Committee is determining strategic directions and major future projects for the coming years.
Day-to-day: Beyond centennial projects, our local service efforts help kids at Washington Elementary, our “adopted school;” numerous high school leadership and scholarship projects; and the annual hosting of international students.  We also sponsor, protect and clean up the “Circle of Hope” and “Avenue of Trees” at Headwaters Park and much more.
Around the world: As part of the 1.2 million Rotarians worldwide, we literally help to change the world through projects in these areas:
  • Promote peace
  • Fight disease
  • Provide clean water
  • Save mothers and children
  • Basic education and literacy
  • Economic and community development
Quality weekly programs. By joining the Rotary Club of Fort Wayne, you will learn more about your community from area leaders.
