College Scholarships
The Los Altos Rotary Endowment Fund (LAREF) offers one-year scholarships for local High School Seniors who will be attending a two or four year college in the fall. Eligible students must be graduating from one of the following high schools: Los Altos, Mountain View, AltaVista or St. Francis.
The application period is typically during the month of February. Applicants can apply through the Mountain View Los Altos Community Roundtable Common Scholarship Application.
Students will be evaluated based on their GPA, community service, and financial need. Scholarship payments will be made directly to the student’s college after the committee receives proof of enrollment. If a student cannot attend college for the fall semester/quarter of the year they apply, LAREF will hold the unused scholarship up to two years from the date of the scholarship award.
