The Rotary Club of Los Altos' Community Services plans and implements projects and activities that improve the local community.

 The Rotary Club of Los Altos' International Services plans and implements projects that improve lives outside of the United States. The World Community Services Committee builds capabilities in limited-resource countries, promoting community development and goodwill across the globe.
Other global Impacts include Telehealth, international scholarships, and a leadership role in eradicating polio worldwide.

 The Rotary Club of Los Altos' Climate Action Committee’s goal is to help create a sustainable environment by educating Rotarians, partners, and other communities. The Committee designs and implements projects aimed at reducing carbon footprints and mitigating climate change.
