Rotary Club of Sharpstown President 2025-2026
It is an honor to represent the Sharpstown Rotary Club! And our Club truly represents the diversity of the Sharpstown area and Houston. Since Houston is a Port of Entry, we welcome refugees and immigrants to our community. There are language and cultural challenges as well as inspirations. Our diversity makes us stronger!
With the intention of impacting our future, we focus on youth. Our signature, award-winning project is the Literacy book distribution program at Neff Early Learning Center. For Middle school we work with the Be-Hope cell phone App. Our committment to Sharpstown High School is a new INTERACT Club to build leaders. And we are planning to introduce the Boys to Men mentoring program for boys with few male role-models in their home life. Internationally, we work each year with High School Freshmen from JerusalemPeaceBuilders.
Our community involvement also includes a vocational school scholarship program. We work with H.E.A.R.T. serving adults with disabilities.
On the International scene, we support the World Academy for the Future of Women to build global leaders with young women in areas of the world where women are marginalized.
My personal committmnt since 2005 is for Peace on our Planet. All the things that Rotary does serve that end goal. In 2025 our Club joined the Cypress-Fairbanks Club and the Sugar Land Club to start a PEACE ROTARACT Club in service of joining Rotarians and community leaders to promote Peace!
