JPB’s interfaith programs focus on uniting Israelis, Palestinians, and Americans and providing them with the opportunities, relationships, and skills they need to become future leaders for peace. A passion for peace drives our mission and partnerships power our program.
JPB offers after school programs throughout Israel and the Palestinian territories.
Every year around over 1,000 students apply to attend the summer program in the USA in Texas and Connecticut. The top 10%, representing the cream of the students in terms of initiative and achievement are selected to travel to USA.
The 1st year students (just completing their freshman year in high school) come to Texas and spend a week in the hill country at Camp Allen and then come to Houston and participate in community service while continuing their peace studies.
The Sharpstown Rotary Club provides a Texas welcome to JPB students and Chaperones at the Summer visit to Houston. We introduce them to Rotary and Rotary ideals. We provide a catered BBQ dinner and a Rotary souvenir.
Many of the students become part of the junior United Nations. Most alumni join peacemaking activities of all kinds from governmental agencies to community programs. One is clerking for the Israeli Supreme Court.
