Kingwood Rotary Club is once again partnering with The Rotary Club of University Area-Houston, plus several other Rotary clubs, on a 2020-2021 $97,300 Rotary Foundation Global Grant to provide clean water for families in Matamoros, Mexico.

This project will provide water to 63,000 residents in 15 neighborhoods in part of the City of Matamoros Mexico with an adequate supply of potable water that will help improve health conditions and quality of life for the families.  This is the 3rd Global Grant bringing the total to $221,000 for these clean drinking water projects.
Kingwood Rotarian Charlie Buscemi traveled to Matamoros with Art and Olga Bautista, plus several other local Rotarians to visit the project.Clean water is one of Rotary's 6-Areas of Focus, and we are very proud to help the Rotary Club of University Area, Houston in their goal to help save lives!
