VOCATIONAL SERVICE

ImageVocational service is the avenue whereby members of our Club represent their occupation to fellow Rotarians and exemplify the characteristics of high ethical standards and the dignity of work.  Three committees and three programs fulfill the responsibility.

The Rotary Goes to Work Committee arranges for club members to visit businesses owned or operated by Rotarians and affords fellowship and a learning experience for members.

The T. Kelsey Lamb Ethics Award committee solicits nominations for the ethics award among club members, selects the winner and makes a presentation at a regular meeting.

The Service Above Self/Vocational Excellence Committee solicits nominations for Rotarians and non-Rotarians to receive the award for vocational excellence.  The awards are made at a regular meeting.  Generally, club members nominating the winners read or recite their nomination letter and award the winners with a trophy and/or certificate.
