A limited number of college scholarships are awarded annually (in the spring for a fall admission) through funds made available by the Beaumont Rotary Foundation, Inc. Awards are based on demonstrated service to others as this is the very foundation of Rotary.

To be eligible, a student:

 

1. Must be a high school senior attending a high school in Beaumont,Texas, and/or residing in Beaumont, Texas.  
2. Must plan to pursue a bachelor’s degree in a four year institution of higher education.
3. Must have minimum overall 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale; a complete transcript from each high school attended must be submitted with application.
4. Must submit three letters of recommendation: one from principal, counselor or teacher; two from individuals who have direct knowledge of applicant’s community service activities and leadership potential.
5. Award is based on community service, leadership potential, and academic achievement. Special consideration given to students who participate in Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA).
