SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT EXPRESSES THANKS

The Club received a very grateful letter from Rotary Scholarship recipient, Charlie Adkins.

He writes:

Thank you so much for your support over the last 4 years. Last week, I graduated with undergraduate degrees in Business Honors and Accounting from The University of Texas.

I am enrolled full-time in the fall to complete my Master's in Professional Accounting, which I will complete in May 2017.

Thank you to the Rotary Club of Beaumont for all of the support. I really appreciate this scholarship, which has enabled me to relentlessly pursue my education and a career in the sports industry.

With the assistance of this scholarship, I have been afforded many extracurricular opportunities, including internships with the NFL, UT Men's Basketball Team, Round Rock Express, and Australian Baseball League. I look forward to continuing my career in the sports industry post-graduation.

I really appreciate all that the Rotary Club of Beaumont has done for me during my collegiate career.  Please pass along my gratitude to the Rotary Club.

Thank you,

Charlie

Your donations to the Beaumont Rotary Foundation in the form of "Service Above Self" are making a significant impact on the lives of others both here in our community and around the world. Please continue to be generous so the Club's many projects can continue.
