2015 District Conference

"Spotlight on District 5910"
Sharen Kirksey "cuts the rug" to the tunes of "The Stray Dogs" who performed on Friday night at the Spotlight Awards Dinner in the Event Centre while Kathryn Warren of the Spindletop Club, Bobbie Applegate (on the left in the rear) and Nakisha Myles Burns (right rear) look on.

300+ Rotarians and guests from 34 clubs in District 5910 attended the 2015 District Conference hosted by the Rotary Club of Beaumont.  There were many facets to the Conference beginning with a Clay Shoot benefiting polio eradication efforts to the closing farewell on Sunday with "Let There be Peace on Earth."  A highlight was the Governor's Banquet with special award presentations and outstanding entertainment by the Dallas Brass on Saturday night.

Many Rotarians from our club helped by serving on the main planning Committee, helping one of the sub-committee chairs with their assignment, attending and helping with an event, and more.  Please accept deep gratitude for making the event a huge success which was thoroughly enjoyed by the attendees.
