Beaumont Welcomes the National Beep Baseball Association 2022 World Series Tournament

For the first time, the Beaumont CVB is hosting the National Beep Baseball Association’s (NBBA) 2022 World Series Games next summer. Beep Baseball is an adaptive version of the American Baseball game for the blind, low vision & legally blind athletes. During a Beep Baseball Game, athletes who are visually impaired dive on to the ground to stop a beeping ball and run full speed 100 feet toward the sound of a buzzing base to score a run. A Beep baseball team has at least five or six blind or visually impaired individuals. In the world of Beep Baseball, the NBBA World Series is the most important event of the season. The week-long tournament, which has now spread globally, has taken place annually since 1976 and is held the last week of July each year.  The Beaumont CVB needs a very large volunteer pool to donate their time for a variety of tasks during the BEEP BALL World Series.

Ms. Willard will be introduced by Dean Conwell.
