The Energy Sector and the Southeast Texas Economy

Mr. Morgan has more than 19 years of investment management experience; the last 5 with Capital One, where he is a Co-Portfolio Manager for the MLP Infrastructure strategy. He also chairs the COAM Investment Product Committee and is a member of the COAM Investment Policy Committee which sets firm asset allocation policy and oversees investment activity. Prior to joining Capital One, he worked primarily in the brokerage business, where he held a Series 7 and various supervisory licenses. Mr. Morgan earned his B.A. from Carleton College and his M.A. in Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin - Madison.

Mr. Morgan's topic will cover the energy sector (the expansion of U.S. drilling activities, increased exports, and more. Additionally, he will present an economical overview that includes impacts/effects on the local Southeast Texas economy.  ​
