For a Bachelor's Degree, there are three main requirements: Attendance, Acquaintances, and Activities.
I. ATTENDANCE- Maintain 100% attendance consecutively for 2 months.
*Note: Make-ups do count toward your 100% attendance.
II. ACQUAINTANCES- Make new Rotary relationships in ONE of the following ways:
- Make 10 new acquaintances or the number equal to 20% of the club's membership whichever is the lesser, but not fewer than 5
- Interview in depth one Rotarian and present the story of that Rotarian's life and work by either a written summary the the President or an oral presentation at a club meeting
III. ACTIVITIES- Any six instances of the following list:
- Be a greeter
- Participate in putting on a meeting(meeting duties)
- Attend a committee meeting
- Attend a club function other than the regular meeting
- Bring a prospective new member to a Rotary Meeting
- Volunteer for a club function or event
- Volunteer for a fund raiser
- Donate at least $100 to the Rotary Foundation
- Mentor a student or serve in other club outreach projects to the community
- Other activities as determined by the President of your club
All degree requirements must be met before you may receive your blue badge. Please fax, email, or bring in your completed paperwork* so that we can process it for your badge.
