Interact clubs give students an opportunity to participate in fun, meaningful service projects while developing leadership skills and friendships. When Rotary helps out Interact, Interact is also helping out Rotary by inspiring and helping with new ideas.

Today there are more than 11,400 clubs in over 125 countries with an estimated membership of 250,000 youth worldwide. Interact not only does community based projects, but also projects around the world. Interact clubs are sponsored by individual Rotary clubs which provide support and guidance, but they are self-governing and self-supporting.

Interactors develop a network of friendships with local and overseas clubs and learn the importance of developing leadership skills and personal integrity, demonstrating helpfulness and respect for others, understanding the value of individual responsibility and hard work. Each year, Interact clubs complete at least two community service projects, one of which furthers international understanding and goodwill.

The Rotary Club of Beaumont is very proud to sponsor two Interact Clubs.  One is at Westbrook High School and one was started in 2012 at Monsignor Kelly Catholic High School.
