I was in Port Lincoln last Thursday and missed our breakfast meeting, however Angus informed me that it went very well, chaired by John W. who concentrated on sharing and gathering ideas for community service projects.
Unfortunately Katrina was absent due to her grapes being harvested.
Jeff Cluse, the Area 12 Organizer and Barrie Trevarrow, the current President of RC Prospect, were guests, plus Alex Yepes who has been attending our evening functions.

Dear Angus, Dear Helen, Dear President, Mr. Rob McLennon, Dear Bruce, and members of the Rotary Club of Adelaide Light:
We send you our greetings and our gratitude because of your biggest effort for helping young men and women of Miramar, Suba, Colombia, to study technical or technological professions for work, during more than eleven years.
Considering the world situation, because of pandemic problem, we were thinking that it could arrive to generate difficulties for you, to continue helping us. Of course, there are other requirements of urgent answer such as health, food, help to people without work in many countries near Australia, also, in your own country.
We understand, your decision to finish your help for this Programme, it was not easy, but at the same time it was good to help your neighbours, countries with a lot of difficulties.
It is important to explain you that hundreds of students benefited of your help, the most part, graduated in different areas and now they work contributing to benefit enterprises, commerce, business- Some of them have finished the University. If this collaboration were not possible, those students, could not study,
We expect that your effort will be especially important for poor people of north and south region, not far from Australia. We are sure you will have an important success through new projects according with the necessities of each region, near you.
Of course, we close a page of the history of our clubs but, our longstanding friendship, we are sure, it will continue for a long time.
To Angus, many thanks for your confidence, solidarity, and orientation: It let us to work in benefit of young boys and girls with an objective: give hands to those who did not have other opportunity to arrive to have a better life through the study and their own effort in benefit of the family, the community, and our Country. Students also, send to all the Members of your Rotary Club of Adelaide Light, their gratitude for ever.
Finally, we expect Angus and other members of our Partner Rotary Club of Adelaide Light, someday can visit us.

April 21, 2021 marks the Centenary of the first Rotary meeting held in Australia and New Zealand, at the Rotary Club of Melbourne. 3 years later in 1923 the Rotary Club of Adelaide held the first Rotary meeting in South Australia.
To celebrate this magnificent milestone, the Rotary and Rotaract Clubs of District 9510 Area 12 invite all members both past and present as well as family, friends and supporters to join us for a very special evening.
Our MC Rotarian Tony Pilkington will take us on a journey over the past 100 years of Rotary in Australia.
Guests include His Excellency the Honourable Hieu Van Le AC, and online we hope to hear from the Rotary International President Holger Knaack.
