Those present last Thursday morning for breakfast were entertained with Liz's presentation covering the Life and Times of Liz Tilley, thanks Liz.

The Barbeque last week gave us a profit of $967.00 which was very good on a very hot day.

Our meeting this Thursday morning is a trial breakfast meeting at the Ibis Hotel, 122 Grenfell St. City, arriving from 7am. for a 7.15am. start. The agenda for this meeting will be flexible and largely focus on camaraderie and discussion about the blending of Rotary/Rotaract interests.

Sadly, because of Betty Rowe’s current health position, David has advised me that he will need be absent for our coming meetings until Betty's situation changes. We wish them both the very best and David will be missed.

Last Sunday I did the Bread Run with John W. and David Riggall and It was great to catch up with David as I suspect that at least two years had gone by.

Last Thursday, I collected 3 bags of empty bottles from Catherine House and did some weeding as well. The front garden looks great and although we have lost a few plants at the back , it continues to thrive. A special thankyou to Vince Ball for visiting C.H. and reviewing the watering system and making some much need adjustments.

Our bottle collections continue to grow modestly and we are closing in quickly in on $300.00

The Four Way Test

The Four Way Test

Of the things we think, say or do:

  1. Is it the Truth?
  2. Is it Fair to all concerned?
  3. Will it build Goodwill and better Friendships?
  4. Will it be Beneficial to all concerned?

United in the spirit of Service we value truth, fairness and friendship; and we welcome the opportunity that Rotary gives us to contribute our talents and resources in support of others.

Rotary Club of Adelaide Light Mission Statement
