The following breakfast meeting on Thursday 22nd April has been transferred to Wednesday 21st. to allow our club to join the other member clubs of Area 12 celebrate 100 years of the first Rotary Club being chartered in Australia. This will be a dinner meeting with a 6pm for a 6.30pm start with a 8pm finish and will be attended by His Excellency Governor of South Australia Hieu Van Le. The MC will be Rotarian Tony Pilkington.
The venue is the William Magarey Room, Southern Stand at the Adelaide Oval.
The cost is $40.00 which includes main meal, shared cheese platter, coffee & tea

Every year, on our meeting closest to ANZAC day the Rotary Club of Adelaide Parks has a speaker with a military background/historian.
Our speaker this year is Lieutenant Colonel Douglas Langhrehr who will be speaking about Peace keeping missions, and he is well qualified to do so.

April 21, 2021 marks the Centenary of the first Rotary meeting held in Australia and New Zealand, at the Rotary Club of Melbourne. 3 years later in 1923 the Rotary Club of Adelaide held the first Rotary meeting in South Australia.
To celebrate this magnificent milestone, the Rotary and Rotaract Clubs of District 9510 Area 12 invite all members both past and present as well as family, friends and supporters to join us for a very special evening.
Our MC Rotarian Tony Pilkington will take us on a journey over the past 100 years of Rotary in Australia.
Guests include His Excellency the Honourable Hieu Van Le AC, and online we hope to hear from the Rotary International President Holger Knaack.

The Conference Dinner will be held at the Convention Centre, and includes a drink package. The dinner will also be a celebration of the Centenary of Rotary in Australia.
