This week we have a breakfast meeting on Thursday 14 November at 7.15am at the Stamford Plaza Hotel. We look forward to hearing about our new volunteering project that started this week at Ronald McDonald House where some members prepared and shared a meal with House residents. Julie Campbell planned the menu and organised the ingredients for the meal which was cooked on the premises.
Last Sunday Club members and some Rotaractors attended a very successful progressive BBQ at Kangarilla and Blewitt Springs and a few walkers enjoyed the Onkaparinga Gorge bushwalk led by Bruce McDonald. We were very lucky to have perfect weather for an outdoor lunch at tables looking over at the beautiful Bakers Gully gumtrees. Angus Tuck provided and cooked a perfect BBQ and we also had a great selection of pate, salads and desserts brought by members to complement his cooking.
A reminder that The Annual General Meeting of the Club will be held on Thursday 12 December. This will also be the last meeting for the year. Nominations are open for all positions on the Board. So far, nominations have been received from Di Lane for the position of Secretary and from Rob McLennan for the position of Fundraising. Please send me nominations for any of the positions on the Board. Board positions are listed on the side of the newsletter.

Attendance: Set up reception table (attendance sheet; members list – re -payments; guest welcome sheet; money); register member payments/ apologies/ guests.
