Stories
We were disappointed to hear that President Miriam has been called back to Melbourne for further treatment on her pesky ankle.  We wish her well for a speedy recovery.

This week's meeting (October 1) will be held at the Naval Military and Air Force Club. Join us there at 7 for 7:15am for breakfast.  It is a joint meeting with the Rotary Club of Adelaide South and will celebrate Hat Day - a fundraising event for Rotary's Mental Health programs.  Our speaker will be Dr Michelle Atchison.  Michelle is a psychiatrist in private practice, represents psychiatry on the AMA(SA) Council, and chairs the SA Branch of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists.

Subsequent meetings (8 October until at least Christmas) will be at the Royal Coach Hotel, 24 Dequetteville Terrace, Kent Town.

Last week, we were treated to a great talk from Kirsti Kankunnen, current President of the Adelaide City Rotaract CLub.  Kirsti is a qualified neuropsychologist, and gave a fascinating talk detailing what she had to do to qualify, what she does in her work at Hampstead and all sorts of information about the impact of ageing on the brain  and what we can do about it!

Of the things we think, say or do:

  1. Is it the Truth?

Unstoppable Virus....

I thought you would want to know about this e-mail virus.
Even the most advanced programs cannot take care of this one.   It appears to affect those who were born prior to 1955.

Symptoms:
Causes you to send the same e-mail twice.
Done that!
Causes you to send a blank e-mail!
That too!
Causes you to send e-mail to the wrong person.
Yep!
Causes you to send it back to the person who sent it to you.
Aha!
Causes you to forget to attach the attachment.
Well darn!
Causes you to hit "SEND" before you've finished.
Oh, no not again!
Causes you to hit "DELETE" instead of "SEND."
And I just hate that!
Causes you to hit "SEND" when you should "DELETE."
Oh No!

IT'S CALLED THE "C-NILE VIRUS."
