Hello Fellow Rotarians,
Due to COVID infection rates continuing to remain high and our “not so young” demographic, we will be meeting via Zoom only through the end of January, 2021. We will watch numbers and will make a determination regarding the month of February 2021 before the end of January and will keep the membership informed.
I know everyone wants to get together in person ASAP but we need to be consider the health and safety of our members and continue to be role models for the community. You will continue to receive the zoom invite on both Monday and Wednesday each week.
We will have a background contest next week. 1st place winner will receive a Rotary mask and the 2nd place winner will receive a RI pin. Having a supply of pins could help avoid future fines!
Thank you,
Tami Beard, President

Fellow Rotarians,
I am saddened to inform you that Herb Bacon passed away this morning, January 6, 2021. Herb has been a Rotarian since 1958 and was the club President 1965-1966. He was instrumental in the success of many of the clubs projects over the past 62 years providing financial support and garnering support of other Rotarians and community members. When I joined Rotary, Herb was the self-assigned greeter. He greeted everyone by name and shook their hands as they arrived at the meeting, old and new members alike. Herb was a truly selfless individual and he will be missed. I’d like to reserve a few minutes at the beginning of the meeting next week for those of you that would like to share some Rotary stories about Herb.
Thank you,
Tami Beard, President

Contact Peter Booth if you want to contribute to this great program!
A big THANK YOU to Peter Booth and Wayne Sallade' for their great interview with "The Coach" from KAFM Community Affairs. They did an excellent job talking about Rotary in general and our annual effort to support the Salvation Army through the Bell Ringing program. Kudos for a job well done.
