This Week's Meeting
This is it! The biggest weekend for our Club!!

We definitely need folks to sign up for helping out at Aquafest! This is an All Hands On Deck Event! Click this link to sign up for the various shifts. There's working at the Corn Booth, participating in the Grande Parade and the Cornhole Tournament. Even if a shift is "full" you can still come out to help us at the Booth. Also, keep those sponsorship forms coming in.

Our weekly meeting on Friday will be at The Buzz Inn downtown and from there we will go right into setting up the Corn Booth for Aquafest.

Please double and triple-check your commitments at the end of this bulletin especially for the Farmer's Market July 24th, Aug 7th and Aug 21st. You sign up for these at the Member Area, Volunteers, View Signup Lists page after you are logged into our Club website. If you need any assistance with our website, contact our Website Administrator James Monroe.

The link to our YouTube Channel is now available on our website and our weekly bulletins. You can view recent online meetings. If you watch any of them, you can count it as a makeup. Just let our Secretary, Gary O'Rielly know.
Convergint Social Responsibility Day
Joining us on July 19th was Club Member Chris Jacobson and 2023-2024 Rotary Citizen of the Year who shared the award with his wife Rachel Horner, for a presentation about Convergint Social Responsibility Day and their Step Up Program. Chris was joined by several members of Convergint team in Lake Stevens today to provide work to benefit the Lake Stevens School District.

Convergint is the largest privately held Fire and Security firm in the world with 10,000 employees world-wide. In 2002, the Founders created their Social Responsibility Day. It is the first time that Convirgent employees in the United States and Canada (9.200) workers fully paid, shutdown on the same day under the Step Up and Social Responsibility Day to help local communities. The Step Up program has served 100 schools with donations. Their donations through their partner-Verkada donated $30,000 and another $50,000 with labor and materials.

Here are the employees from around the area that were in Lake Stevens on Friday, July 19th volunteering for projects with the Lake Stevens School District.

You can see more of Chris presentation on YouTube-Lake Stevens Rotary-July 19th.So much more interesting information about "what" Convergint has done for our community. Lake Stevens has been the recipient of over $230,850 from Convergint and they showed a video about Enhancing School Security.
