This Week's Meeting
If you have ideas for programs, get a hold of Kendra Pinkleman so she can get a presentation on our speaker calendar. She is always open to ideas. We look forward to seeing you at this week's meeting. We will hear from a couple of members as they give their Classification Talks. These talks are designed for members to share a little bit about themselves including why they became Rotarians.

Keep working on securing sponsors for our events this Rotary Year. Look for our sponsorship form at our website.

The link to our YouTube Channel is now available on our website and our weekly bulletins. You can view recent online meetings. If you watch any of them, you can count it as a makeup. Just let our Secretary, Gary O'Rielly know.
Rotary Presidential Citation
Assistant District Governor and District Governor Nominee Kathleen Olson visited our Club on Friday, September 6th to present Past President Don Iverson with his Rotary International Presidential Citation which is now called the Club Excellence Award for the 2023-2024Rotary Year.

The Club Excellence awards, formerly the Rotary Citation awards recognize the hard work Clubs do throughout the the year. Working to achieve the Club Excellence goals help Clubs engage their members, increase the impact in their communities and run more efficiently.  A welcoming and engaging Club not only fosters a positive experience for its members, but also reflects the values of Rotary. When Clubs achieve these goals, they contribute to the overall health and culture of Rotary in our communities for generations to come.

Congratulations Don for a very successful year.

Service Above Self

The Object of Rotary
The object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular, to encourage and foster:
First - The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service;
Second - High ethical standards in business and professions, the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations, and the dignifying of each Rotarian's occupation as an opportunity to serve society:
Third - The application of the ideal of service in each Rotarian's personal, business, and community life;
Fourth - The advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service.
The Four-Way Test
The Rotary Four-Way Test of the things we do and say each and every day. A testament to the work our 1.2 million members in 36,000 clubs worldwide do all of the time.
