We are returning to our usual meeting location at the Lake Stevens School District Educational Service Center. Though please note that our meeting in three weeks--January 30th--will NOT be at the usual place but at the IHOP at Frontier Heights. The School District needs to use the Community Room that day. This week's meeting includes a presentation by Ryanna Cook, the current Mrs. Washington. The Mrs. America is a pageant featuring the most accomplished married women of America. Each year, 51 delegates (all U.S. states plus the District of Columbia) compete for the coveted title which remains the first, and still the foremost competition for married women! This renowned national competition is devoted to emphasizing that America’s 70 million married woman are extraordinarily beautiful, poised, articulate and versatile. The pageant started in 1938! Ryanna is from Lake Stevens! We are looking forward to her visit.

The Board will be holding its next meeting on Wednesday, January 14th at Sherwood Community Services. All Members are invited.

Don't forget to register for the District 5050 Conference that will happen at the beginning of May. It will be at Harrison Hot Springs!

As we have mentioned, our Scholarship Portal is now open to accept applications from 2026 Lake Stevens High School graduating seniors. If you know of a senior who plans to pursue education after high school at a college, university of technical/vocational institution, please invite them to submit an application.
