Thank you to ALL of our members and assorted family that helped out at our Booth at Aquafest!! We were also in the Grande Parade on Saturday afternoon. This is always a fun highlight as we got to introduce our Rotarian of the Year Ilene Lavering! There will be a complete report on the booth at an upcoming meeting.
The featured speaker at this week's meeting will be Adrianne Wagner, Acting Chief Executive Officer of Leadership Snohomish County. Founded in 1998, Leadership Snohomish County (LSC) is a local nonprofit committed to county-specific leadership development. Historically known for its nine month signature program, LSC has graduated talented and motivated professionals who are informed about local issues and ready to engage in the community for the long term. Adrianne will give us an update on the organization and the impact it is having in Snohomish County. Did you know that some of our members have been through the program?

Another year participating in AquaFest 2026. Our club's booth shifted this year from corn on the cob to Strawberry Shortcake which was a resounding success. Our booth was well decorated showcasing our Strawberry Shortcake, our strawberry mascot telling everyone to have a “berry good day.” Another highlight was the parade where our strawberry mascot joined our Rotarian of the Year, Ilene Levering riding in past President Brian Rewis' Bronco. What a festive AquaFest. A big shout out to all of our volunteers who made this event such a huge success.
