This Week's Meeting
We start the new Rotary Year with our regular meeting time and location Friday. The featured speaker will be Bill Tobin who will update us on the Shelter Box program that has been very successful during times of disasters in numerous locations worldwide.
 
Great turnout at last week's Installation Banquet! Thank you Chris Vallo on a great year. There were many accomplishments most notably 14, yes, 14, people joined our Club! There is a Album available on our website with many more photos from that evening. Click the link to view!
 
We are gearing up for Aquafest. Keep those sponsors coming in. We will also need people to sign up for the various tasks that need to be done during that weekend. That sign up will be available in a few days.
 
The link to our YouTube Channel is now available on our website and our weekly bulletins. You can view recent online meetings. If you watch any of them, you can count it as a makeup. Just let our Secretary, Gary O'Rielly know.
32nd Annual Installation Banquet Awards
President Chris Vallo presents the Spirit of Service to Amelia Mimura and Amy Lewandowski.
 
Pinnacle of Service Awards were presented to Brian Rewis and Kendra Pinkelman who were unavailable for the awards ceremony.
 
Receiving the Diamond Jewel Award for service to our Interact Club was Kristin Odegaard and receiving the Rising Star Award was Kyle Strand, chair of the Membership Committee.
 
Receiving the Four Way Test Award was Jak Thornton and the Service Above Self was awarded to Ron Rasmussen who was unavailable but on Zoom.
 
Receiving the Viking Leadership Award was Don Iverson who ascended to the Club Presidency the following day.
 
 
Outgoing President Chris presents Gary O'Rielly with the 2022-2023 Rotary of the Year Award.
New Board 2023-2024
Don Iverson is sworn in as the President of the Rotary Club of Lake Stevens for 2023-2024 by Dave Duskin, District Governor-Elect. The passing of the gavel between outgoing president Chris Vallo and the incoming president Don Iverson.

​Interact is a service club for youth ages 14-18. The name is a combination of the words international​ and action​. We join Clubs in over 120 countries around the world. The global youth network is dedicated to community and international service. Every Interact Club project, great or small, has a lasting impact on society worldwide.
 
The School Year has ended and so have our meetings, Club Meetings will resume in September. Contact Mrs. Odegaard for more information!

Our regular Rotary Club Meetings are at the Lake Stevens School District Educational Service Center lower level Community Room located at 12309 22nd St NE. We start at 7:30 am. Click here for the online link. There will not be any breakfast served. However, coffee will be available. Visitors are always welcome.
