This Week's Meeting
Our featured speaker at this week's meeting is District Governor Dave Duskin. Governor Dave is visiting all of the Clubs in District 5050 this fall to give a State of the District Message. And, to share what's on the near term horizon for the District and Rotary in general. We are looking forward to Dave's visit as he shares The Magic of Rotary. If you've been thinking about bringing a guest to learn more about Rotary, this is a great opportunity to do so. We look forward to seeing many of you at the meeting on Friday.

Keep working on securing sponsors for our events this Rotary Year. Look for our sponsorship form at our website. And, don't forget to register for our Building Community Together Auction on November 9th!

Hebron IT Academy
Our guest speakers on Friday, October 4th were Liliya Valihun and Steve Chittenden who were with us to share information on the Hebron IT Academy. Steve is a member of the Everett-Port Gardner Rotary Club. Since 2016, the Hebron IT Academy has been helping orphans, semi-orphans and young people who suffer from the Russian aggression in Ukraine or found themselves in a difficult life circumstance. Hebron IT Academy is empowering vulnerable youth through tech education in Ukraine.

At Hebron IT Academy: education; housing; food; medicine; mental support; spiritual growth; internship and employment. Fining support through sponsorships is key to their continued success. Basically, there goal is to empower at-risk youth in Ukraine through technology by providing quality education and job opportunities in innovative projects that benefits society.

Club members received a signed Ukraine flag by Hebron IT Academy students from Liliya and Steve at the end of their presentation. A very unique opportunity for at-risk youth in Ukraine.
