This Week's Meeting

The featured speaker at this week's meeting is Jayden Gilmore, Community Relations Specialist for Gesa Credit Union which recently opened a branch here in Lake Stevens. Gesa is based in Richland, WA and was founded in 1953!

Members! Don't forget that Saturday, June 13th is our annual celebration and new Board installation party. Come for a Texas-themed year end celebration of our Club. You were sent an invitation to the Banquet which will be held at the Lake Stevens Food Bank beginning at 4:30 pm. Make sure you RSVP by June 6th. Bring your significant other and your best Texas-themed outfits for a great time.

High School Scholarship Awards

On Friday, May 29th, our program was dedicated to Lake Stevens High School seniors who are reciepients of the Lake Stevens High School Scholarships. The Club distributed $37,000 to eleven Lake Stevens High School Seniors. Don Iverson is the Chair of the Scholarship Committee and Sam Low, State Representative and Snohomish County Councilman were the event's emcees. Besides the funds raised from our two fundraisers, additional funds were given by Representative Sam Low, Debe & Derek Franz in honor of Dean Franz, Loren & Lorna Hole and Lance Morehouse. Congratulations to the recipients and their families!

Thank you to this year's Scholarship Committee and members who participated in the selection process.

The global youth network is dedicated to community and international service. Every Interact Club project, great or small, has a lasting impact on society worldwide.

Our regular Rotary Club Meetings are at the Lake Stevens School District Educational Service Center lower level Community Room located at 12309 22nd St NE. We start at 7:30 am. Click here for the online link. There will not be any breakfast served. However, coffee will be available. Visitors are always welcome.
